Spring vacation

I finished all my tests on February 28th. My spring vacation will start. I want to play a lot and make my good memory, because job hunting will start soon and If so, I can seldom play. Now, I will talk about what I plan to do and I want to do during spring vacation.
First, I will go to Yatsushiro to consult a fortune-teller. There is a famous fortuneteller in Yatsushiro. I wanted to consult the fortune-teller from before, but I could not go there, because I was busy and I was not suitable for the friend's schedule. As our schedule was suitable at last, we can go to consult the fortune-teller. I am looking forward to it very much.

Second, I will go to Fukuoka for shopping. I have been to Fukuoka for shopping only once. Then, I was satisfied with shopping. There are a lot of clothing shops in Fukuoka and these shops are not in Kumamoto. For example, there are shops like CECIL McBEE, LIZ LISA and so on. I like CECIL McBEE very much. When I went to buy to Fukuoka before, I bought CECIL McBEE's clothes the most. I can not wait to go shopping in Fukuoka from now.

Third, I plan to go to do snowboard, but it does not decide yet. I have skied when I was a high school student. It was very difficult but it was very fun if it became accustomed. I have never done snowboard, so I am a little anxious if I can do. But I think that it is sure fun for me, so I want to go to do snowboard.

I have a lot of what I want to do. For example, I want to go to see movie. The movie that I want to see the most is "The Chronicles of Narnia: the third chapter The Voyage of the Dawn Treader", because I like the series. I also want to see "Byakuyako". I saw the CM and I am interested in the story, so I thought that I want to see it. Also, I want to go to spa with my family. Like this, I have many things that I want to do during spring vacation. It is difficult to do all things, but I want to make many good memories.

Writing Exam

In this semester, I became to be able to type faster than before. I couldn’t type only seeing keyboard, but I can type fast even if I don’t see keyboard. Though I see keyboard a little yet, but I can type much faster than before. Also, I learned many vocabulary and sentences by writing blog. I wrote many book reviews and essays. In the course of reading and writing them, I could learn many vocabulary and sentences I didn’t know before, and I could make use of them when I write new blogpost.

I tried to write typing homework, book reviews and essays deliberately in this semester, but some of them were late a little. In this semester, counts of book reviews and typing homework increased more than 1st semester. I also tried to write my idea a lot on my book reviews. As I didn’t write my ideas so much, I thought that I do my best in 2nd semester. I think that I could write my ideas more than 1st semester. Also, I wanted to enjoy my blog to readers, so I tried to write intelligible essays, diary and so on to readers, and I post many pictures to be able to enjoy to readers.

I was satisfied with my writing blog, because I think that I could write my ideas in any my blogposts. I tried to write my posts intelligibly in this semester. I used my dictionary many times for that. I could write more intelligible than 1st semester. Also, I learned many new words and sentences by writing blog. I think writing blog was good experience for me.

January 18th

There was a farewell party with my part-time job members on January 18th. It started at 7:00 p.m. It was very good time. We enjoyed eating, drinking and talking at first time. After we enjoyed for a while, members who will leave at Mister Donut this time started talking in turn. I felt sad because I got along with them. A senior girl talked and cried at last. I cried in sympathy a little. The other Mister Donut member gave them presents and message card. They were pleased at them. I was glad to see them. All members will leave at Mister Donut at least March. It is very lonesome, but I do my best.

part-time job

I worked from 9:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. Today, Mister Donut is carrying out sale, so a lot of customers came to buy donuts. My work time was 7 hours, but it passed soon because it was busy. I was tired. I will have part-time job tomorrow, too and it will start from 9:00 a.m. I also have to get up early. I'm not good at early rising, so I have to go to bed early tonight.

Also, my 7 friends of work-time job will leave at Mister Donut soon, because they will begin to work as a member of society. I am very sad about it, but it can not help. I want them to do their best.

Essay 2-02c: My Learning Languages

I have ever learned 3 languages from pre- school to university. They are Japanese, English and French. There were many troubles and efforts through learning. I liked learning until I was a junior high school student. Now, I tell you about these languages learning experience. I will tell you about my pre-school days, my elementary school days, my junior high school days and high school days.

I looked at a lot of things: toys, foods, stuffed animals...too many things anyway! I took and looked at what I was interested in a long time one after another, and I asked to pre-school nurse what it is. Pre-school nurse always answered what it is and how to use it kindly. I increased knowledge more and more. In pre-school, there was nothing I could, but learn what I was interested in.

Learning became in earnest in elementary school. I learned the Japanese cursive syllabary(hiragana), katakana and very simple Chinese character(kanji) when I was a lower grades student of elementary school. I wrote my name in the Japanese cursive syllabary many times first. Then I practiced to write the other the Japanese cursive syllabary. After learning the Japanese cursive syllabary, I learned katakana as I learned the Japanese cursive syllabary. I kept writing the Japanese cursive syllabary and katakana on note again and again. I mastered the Japanese cursive syllabaryand katakana and I started to learn very simple Chinese character next. I learned a lot of simple Chinese character which means big, river, dog and so on in English. I saw kanji first then, so I enjoyed learning Chinese character. I wrote many simple Chinese character on my note like same way and memorized them. I liked Japanese very much at this point.

Learning became more difficult in junior high school. I started to learn idioms, difficult Chinese character and archaisms in Japanese class. Idiom forms meaning by combining some Chinese character. I studied how to read and meaning of idiom, I liked to study idioms, so I always got perfect score on the test. As I was glad about it, I studied harder. I also studied difficult kanji. Learning Chinese character in junior high school was a quite different from Learening Chinese character in elementary school. The order to write Chinese character became complicated, but I still liked Chinese character very much at this point. Therefore, I studied harder and got perfect score on Chinese character test, too.

I started to learn archaism. I learned basic archaism in junior high school. It was still easy, so I could keep up learning archaism. Also, as studying archaism was first time for me, I was interested in it. I liked learning archaism in this time.

I started to study English. Before I studied English, I was worried that I could memorize English words, pronounce English and so on properly, but my anxiety changed quickly. I enjoyed studying English very much. I really liked English classes. I learned basic words, vocabulary, sentences and pronunciation and practiced listening. I could study English without pain because I liked English. I always got good scores.

Learning became very difficult for me from high school. Texts became only books that are used very difficult expressions. Since this point, it was trouble for me to learn. Everything was difficult for me in Japanese class: Idioms, Chinese character, archaisms,...everything! Even if I studied harder, I couldn't get good scores on Japanese tests. I came to hate Japanese.
Studying English was as difficult as Japanese, but I didn't come to hate English except for listening. I was poor at listening then. I usually got good score on English tests, but I couldn't get good score on listening tests. As I had enjoyed studying English I chose way of being able to learn English in University.

I hardly have Japanese learning, but I studied Japanese sentence expression. I practiced to write paper in the class. I didn't like the class because I'm not good at writing sentence. I did my best. I got the credit possibly. I am taking English writing, reading, listening, speaking and grammar concerned English. They make me fun and worried. I am very busy because I have what to do a lot, but I study hard now. Class I like the best of all the classes is Listening because I can watch some video in the class.

I also learned French as second language when I was in first grade. It was very difficult! The structure was similar to English but the other was different. French must change form of verb by subject. I had trouble with it very much. French is the most difficult language for me, so I don't like French. I went to Minnesota on this summer for homestay program. I could study English a little deeper there. Homestay program became my good learning language experience.

I thought that I had enjoyed studying until I was a junior high school student. I don't like Japanese now, but I like Japanese until I was a junior-high school student. I think that I liked not only Japanese but also other subjects. As I was glad to get good scores, I studied harder and I got good scores again. That time was the repetition. I don't enjoy studying now, because learning has become more and more difficult. I want to remember feeling of that time again. I like English the best of all my learning languages. I thought that I try to do my best by writing this essay.

BR 2-18: The Little Red Hen

I read a book "The Little Red Hen" today. This book is also one of Usborne First Reading. I'll talk about the story simply. The little red hen found some grains of wheat and she tried to grow wheat by it. She needs some helps to do it, so she asked her friends to help her, but her friends didn't help her because they thought that these helps seemed to be hard. She worked very hard by herself. The great wheat grew for her efforts. She made nice bread by the wheat. When the bread made, she asked her friends to help her eat the bread. Her friends tried to help her only eating. When she saw it, she ate up by herself.

When I read this book, I thought that it is natural for the little red hen to eat up. The little red hen's friends didn't help her when she asked them to help for hard work. In spite of it, it is silly to try to eat good bread. I want to give bread to such friends, too. But I have a question. The little red hen asked her friends to help to eat bread. Rather than eat by herself, she had not ask it from the beginning. I thought that nothing get to me without working hard.

BR 2-17: A Fright in the Night

I read a book “A Fright in the Night”. It was one of Oxford Reading Tree series. This book is not magic key series. I’ll talk about the story. One day, Biff and Chip went to stay at their grandmother’s house. They enjoyed taking a walk and making blackberry jam. They asked grandmother if there is ghost in her house again and again. Grandmother answered there is no ghost. At the night, children heard a noise. They thought that it is ghost, but it was an owl. They were relieved, but they looked a figure outside. They thought that it is ghost next time, but it was a grandmother.

I like this book. When I went to house of my grandparents, I think that there is perhaps ghost. House of grandparents is almost old, so everyone feel frightened. I could sympathy with this book. Also, children helped grandmother very well. For example, they helped grandmother when they make blackberry jam and grandmother light a fire. I thought that children are great.

I also like the punch line of this book. Children found the figure that they thought it is ghost is grandmother and they relaxed on a sofa drinking coffee. Then, grandmother said, “I don’t have ghost, but I do have two little monsters!” (Hunt R., 1994, p. 24) I like the phrase. I thought it is cute.
